TRANSPORT TO POPE’S MASS
The National Transport Authority has agreed to provide all public transport in the Greater Dublin Area free for travel to the Phoenix Park for the Pope's Mass on Sunday the 26th August. As long as you have a ticket to attend the Phoenix Park event, you can use public transport for free in the Greater Dublin Area on the day of the event. The other option is to have a private bus from the Parish to the event. Some parishioners have shown a preference for this. The cost of such a service would be €500 and the bus could take 52 persons. Anyone wishing to avail of such a bus service would need to commit at least €10 for the service. Sign-up sheet at the back of the church. For further information, contact Helen at firstname.lastname@example.org or 0879420762. However, if we do not get sufficient numbers, we will not be hiring a bus.
WMOF 2018 PILGRIM WALK
Embark on a Seven Church Pilgrimage in Dublin. From Sat 18 Aug to Sat 25 Aug, we invite pilgrims, in a single day or over the period of the week, to undertake the WMOF2018 Pilgrim Walk. This will involve visiting 7 designated churches, spending time in prayer in each of them for a special intention related to families and finishing the visit with the WMOF 2018 prayer. See notice board.
FAITH AFFIRMED: A group of lay people, typically in their 20s/30s or 40s, meet every Monday at 7.00 pm in the Murray Centre to share on scripture and explore and discuss different catholic catechism and doctrine topics in a fun, relaxed setting. This group invites anyone, in or outside the parish, who is questioning their faith or who wants to deepen their faith journey and wants to meet like-minded people to share how faith relates to life today. Drop in any Monday; or contact Pauline at email@example.com
