Tickets are now on sale for the Opel Corsa 5Door, value €18,350.  One ticket is €50 or you can buy three tickets for €120.  Tickets are available at the Good News Stand, the Pastoral Centre or Texaco Service Station on Newtownpark Avenue. 
Draw will take place in the church on Sunday 3rd November at 1.00pm.

SENIOR CITIZENS will meet at 2.00pm on Monday

CENTRING PRAYER Group will meet on Monday at 7.15pm in the Oval Room.  All welcome.

BETHANY BEREAVEMENT Support Group will meet in the Pastoral Centre at 7.30pm on Monday 9th September.

The BOOK CLUB in the Pastoral Centre at 10.30am on Tuesday 1st October.  The book for discussion is ‘The Hunting Party’ by Lucy Foley.  New members always welcome.

HATS FOR HOMELESS – Our knitters will take up their needles again on Wednesday 25th September at 10.30am in the Oval Room (end of the church).  New members always welcome.

CONSERVATIONS MORNINGS in the Coffee Dock will commence 17th September.  The first topic for conversation is ‘Tax & Wills’ given by Eimear Thornton, a retired tax consultant.  For further details see the poster in the porch.

PASTORAL CENTRE – all of our existing groups have resumed.  Dates and times vary, so please ask at Reception for details and pick up list of activities.

New groups include, Jolly Boppers, Personal Trainer, Pilates, O’Hanlon Stage School and Drama, Ukulele classes, Sewing classes, Fitness League, Sandra Mullen Drama and U3A.  Also, UCD courses will be starting at the end of September. 

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - As the Pastoral Centre launches into a busy schedule of new courses and classes, it is looking for more volunteers for Reception, Garden and Coffee Dock.  If you have a few hours to spare, or know a friend or neighbour who has just retired and would like to give some time back to the community, pop into the centre and have a chat with Deirdre.
