JOB VACANCY: - PARISH PASTORAL CENTRE MANAGER NEWTOWNPARK PARISH: Newtownpark Parish is just completing a new Parish Pastoral Centre which is designed to the highest standards so as to be a welcoming facility for Parish and Community activities. The parish is keen to recruit an experienced, committed and enthusiastic Manager of the new Centre on a part-time fixed term basis. Job description


COFFEE DOCK – Tea, coffee and refreshments will be available after
9.30 and 10.45 Masses during July and August, (with the exception of Strawberry Sunday and Ice Cream Sunday etc.).  As many of our regular helpers will be away during this period, the assistance of extra volunteers would be greatly appreciated.  

GRANDPARENTS - Attention all grandparents, including grandchildren if around!  A special Mass for grandparents will take place at 9.15am on Thursday 26th July, the feast of Our Lady's parents St. Joachim and St. Anne.  All welcome.  For enquiries contact Margaret (087) 6548115.
A meeting of the Catholic Grandparents Association will take place on Monday 23rd July in the Murray Centre at 10.00am after 9.15am Mass.  All grandparents welcome.  For enquiries contact Margaret 087-6548115.




FAITH AFFIRMED: A group of lay people, typically in their 20s/30s or 40s, meet every Monday at 7.00 pm in the Murray Centre to share on scripture and explore and discuss different catholic catechism and doctrine topics in a fun, relaxed setting.  This group invites anyone, in or outside the parish, who is questioning their faith or who wants to deepen their faith journey and wants to meet like-minded people to share how faith relates to life today.  Drop in any Monday; or contact Pauline at
