World Meeting of Families 2018  – Will you join us on this journey?
We invite you to a meeting on Monday 8th January at 7.30 pm in Conference Room No.1 (in the sacristy area), when our parish Animation Team would like to share our parish preparation programme:  Parish Conversations – Let’s Talk Family.
This adult programme based on six active animation sessions will be delivered in our parish on the Tuesday evenings of Lent.  Pope Francis’s hope is that this initiative would help prepare families and those supporting them to progress their faith development and be fully prepared for the World Meeting of Families in our country later this year.  The Children’s Animation – Let’s Talk Family – will be integrated into the Eucharistic Celebrations on the six Sundays of Lent.

DATE FOR YOUR DIARY - Alpha Course 2018 - All Welcome - Please Apply
Earlier this year the parish ran a very successful and hugely enjoyable Alpha Course.  We plan to run the Alpha course again, starting from Tuesday the 30th January at 7.30pm in the Murray Centre.  Worldwide, it is a very popular course among young adults - all ages are welcome.  The course runs over ten weeks.  The weekly meeting consists of an initial cuppa and snack, followed by a 30-minute, high quality video on different aspects of our faith and Jesus’s ministry which is then followed by small groups discussions.  Please email alphanewtownpark@gmail.com to express your interest in attending leaving your name, address and contact number.  Please bring a friend.
